Our story really boils down to one simple belief; gym-goers deserve better. We are the Urban Gym Group. We’ve been pushing the boundaries of what we can do to empower our community to become the very best version of themselves. In doing so we create places with purpose where people come to transform their lives from good to great. We place our community left, right and centre in everything we do. By tailoring our future facing and innovative urban gym concepts to their specific needs, we offer them the care, the energy and the challenge they need to create an ever-healthier lifestyle.

Marjolijn Meijer
Marjolijn Meijer co-founded Clubsportive and TrainMore. Now her company has grown into the Urban Gym Group, a chain of about 30 gyms with over 600 employees. Before her career in fitness and health, Marjolijn was active in education. Her experience, education and passion relate in particular to innovation, change management, culture and talent development.
Jordy Kool
Jordy Kool joined the Urban Gym Group as a shareholder in 2016, he later became an advisor in 2018 and finally CO-CEO in 2020. Jordy Kool worked until 2018 as CEO and chairman of the board at Infotheek Group (Infotheek, Centralpoint, Flex it). Jordy is still connected as a board member.
