To support our ongoing growth, we are seeking a motivated and structured Partnership Development Intern to join our Commercial team. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment, contributing directly to the development of strategic partnerships. Urban Gym Group is home to leading fitness brands including TrainMore, Clubsportive, and BTY CLB, with clubs located across Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht, and The Hague. Our mission is to make fitness more enjoyable, valuable, and accessible — together with our members, our team, and our partners.

Key responsibilities

As a Partnership Development Intern, you will work closely with the Partnerships Manager and wider commercial team. Your role will include:

Mapping internal responsibilities and workflows related to partnerships and identifying opportunities for optimisation.
Conducting market research to identify potential new partners and preparing proposals for collaboration.
Supporting the implementation of approved partnership initiatives.
Contributing ideas on how to move beyond barter arrangements and develop commercially viable partnerships.
Assisting with administrative and operational tasks to support ongoing partner relationships.

You

Currently enrolled in an HBO-level degree programme in Commercial Economics, Marketing, Business Studies, or a related field.
Structured, analytical, and detail-oriented, with an interest in improving processes.
Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong sense of ownership.
Commercially minded and able to spot opportunities to add value.
Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team.
Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English.

We meet

After a brief meeting online we plan a face to face meeting at one of our clubs or at HQ. When applying for an audition as trainer or performer, you will be invited for the next planned audition.

Conditions

We expect to offer you a contract within 10 working days after your application. The proposal will inform you on all primary and secondary conditions (including unlimited training at all of our labels!).
