As a Finance Intern at Urban Gym Group you will work closely with all departments in our finance team to support key financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and data analysis. Comprising over 40 clubs and studios in all major cities across the Netherlands and the UK, Urban Gym Group is an industry pioneer within the European wellness and fitness community. You might know us from the Trainmore, ClubSportive, Renessence and BTY CLB brands. Our ambitious domestic and international growth plans require an expansion of our finance team.
What You’ll Do:
- Work on a practical project, possibly aligned with your thesis, you will get 1:1 mentoring accordingly
- Assist with financial reporting and analysis
- Support the accounting team with daily tasks
- Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities
- Conduct market research and data analysis for possible new clubs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial data
- Support the team in preparing for audits and ensuring financial compliance
Who You Are:
- Currently in your final Bachelors or Masters year of studies in Finance, Accounting, or Business
- Proficient in Dutch, English is a pré
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Able to work independently and in a team
- Available to work 5 days a week, or 4 days if working on a thesis project
- Ability and willingness to work from the office 4 days a week
- Ready to complete a knowledge-based test/case as part of the application process
