HR Advisor

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, scale up environment with experience of supporting and advising colleagues across the business. As HR Advisor, you will be a vital support in delivering across a broad range of HR activities and helping to drive positive outcomes for the business.   

Location: London, Elephant and Castle with occasional travel to the Netherlands where required.  

Salary: £35,000 to £40,000 depending on experience 

This is a great opportunity for an experienced and proactive HR Advisor to join our team at Gymbox HQ. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, scale up environment with experience of supporting and advising colleagues across the business. As HR Advisor, you will be a vital support in delivering across a broad range of HR activities and helping to drive positive outcomes for the business.   

 

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Partnering with the recruitment team to support managers in attracting top talent and improve hiring processes. 
  • Supporting the delivery of onboarding programmes and gathering feedback to enhance the experience. 
  • Facilitating management training and developing practical toolkits to support people leaders. 
  • Collaborating on HR projects and helping managers take ownership of people-related matters. 
  • Staying up to date with UK employment legislation and helping update internal policies and procedures. 
  • Managing employee relations cases and ensuring policies reflect both company culture and UK employment law. 

 

What we’re looking for: 

  • CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent HR experience. 
  • Demonstrable understanding of UK employment law and its practical application. 
  • Confidence in delivering training and coaching others. 
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently. 
  • Experience in HR projects or project management is a plus, but not essential. 
  • Experience supporting managers with employee relations cases. 
  • Experience of working in a scale-up environment, in hospitality or retail is desirable. 

To foster collaboration, coaching, and team energy, we expect our colleagues to work on-site (head office or clubs) at least 4 days per week (and up to 5 days depending on the role).

We meet

After a brief meeting online we plan a face to face meeting at one of our clubs or at HQ. When applying for an audition as trainer or performer, you will be invited for the next planned audition.
