New position: Procurement and Facilities Manager

In this newly created position as Procurement and Facilities Manager at Urban Gym Group you are responsible for the entire procurement process from planning to aftercare. In every contact with our (potential) suppliers and partners, you think from a win-win perspective, you understand the interests of all parties and you strive for long-term and sustainable relationships. You create opportunities and you can build good relationships with managers in the fitness industry. You are decisive and able to take the lead in decision-making processes. You are organization sensitive, hands-on, commercial, creative and partner-oriented. You often work together with finance, management, contractors and other partners. In addition to your procurement duties you are responsible for managing facilities.

 

Your tasks:

  • support and advise functional owners on IT, facilities, construction and renovation and help them realize their goals;
  • ensure the achievement of supplier performance and cost savings targets;
  • manage outsourced matters, directing or checking agreements;
  • ensure that our clubs are operational with all utilities functioning properly;
  • prioritize, schedule and supervise maintenance repair work and assist with checking installation and servicing building equipment;
  • ensure compliance with regulations, and assist with energy management;
  • oversee security of buildings and grounds;
  • maintain ongoing communications with contractors and your colleagues.

 

You:

  • have a degree in Business, Engineering or equivalent professional level experience;
  • have experience with purchasing where savings are realized, such as in ICT equipment, renovations;
  • have legal experience or at least with recording agreements;
  • possess business case experience, independently and/or in collaboration with finance;
  • have strong project management skills;
  • show positive critical attitude combined with empathy and a charming personality;
  • are very hands-on;
  • are diplomatic and responsible;
  • are a strong negotiator, and you understand better than anyone how to build a long relationship with each other;
  • have excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.

We meet

After a brief meeting online we plan a face to face meeting at one of our clubs or at HQ. When applying for an audition as trainer or performer, you will be invited for the next planned audition.
