Operations Assistant

As an operations Assistant you will be the first point of contact for our Club Managers and external companies.

Our ambitious domestic and international growth plans require an expansion of marketing leadership team, and as Head of Marketing, you will play a crucial role in realizing Urban Gym Group’s growth objectives.

As an Operations Assistant you will work in a team and be the first point of contact for our Club Managers and internal teams on all questions related to the member management system and our members. You are also in contact with members directly, solve issues surrounding their payments, Personal Training membership or other backoffice-related tasks. You will directly contribute to helping our business run smoothly.

 

Your daily tasks:

  • You answer emails with members promptly and representatively.
  • You are responsible for monitoring the correct structure in our membership administration system.
  • You implement marketing deals and memberships for new clubs.
  • You contribute to our corporate fitness platform.
  • You are willing to do other work besides your customer contact tasks, including inventory management and administrative work.
  • You contribute to the digitization of our entire administration.
  • You contribute good ideas to make our organization even more efficient.
  • You have the analytical ability to use relevant data to provide the board with new insights.

 

You

  • Have integrity and a strong sense of responsibility;
  • You work accurately, have good communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude;
  • You are stress resistant and can handle dynamic situations;
  • You have excellent proficiency of the Dutch and English language in word and writing;
  • Are a digital native and can wrap your head around new systems quickly;
  • Have excellent Excel knowledge;
  • Are a team player who enjoys working with colleagues from different departments and clubs;
  • Have a proactive attitude;
  • Can deal with a scale-up culture within the operations department;
  • Have perseverance: an empty inbox is a challenge;
  • Ensure a high customer satisfaction of our (corporate) customers;
  • Will work in and gain knowledge of our membership administration system;
  • Have a HBO working and thinking level;
  • Have at least 1 year of customer care/backoffice/financial work experience or any related position in administration or back office.

We meet

After a brief meeting online we plan a face to face meeting at one of our clubs or at HQ. When applying for an audition as trainer or performer, you will be invited for the next planned audition.

Sometimes we skip step 4, but depending on the vacancy, we ask you to step in our club and experience real life a day in our club. This way you know for sure the UGG family suits you.

Conditions

We expect to offer you a contract within 10 working days after your application. The proposal will inform you on all primary and secondary conditions (including unlimited training at all of our labels!).
