IT Field Engineer / Technical Support Engineer

As an IT Field Engineer at Urban Gym Group, you will be at the forefront of keeping our technology running smoothly throughout our network of fitness clubs and wellness locations across the Netherlands. Based at our Amsterdam HQ, you will join a dynamic team dedicated to delivering top-notch IT support. Expect to travel to our various gym locations, troubleshoot issues, manage hardware and software, and set up new workspaces. All while providing excellent customer service to our teams on-site.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on technical support for fitness clubs and wellness locations
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues directly on-site
- Collaborate with IT colleagues to manage and maintain infrastructure including networks, access controls, displays, and other essential systems
- Utilize our IT service management tools to handle incoming request and incidents efficiently
- Manage the IT lifecycle for staff
- Facilitate seamless on and off-boarding procedures
- Maintain accurate records of IT assets
- Provide expert audio and visual support during special events
- Contribute to IT knowledge-sharing by documenting and reviewing standard operating procedures
Requirements:
- 2/3+ years of experience in IT Technical Support or Engineering
- Experience and knowledge of Windows, Mac & Office 365
- Experience with troubleshooting & ticketing
- Proficiency in user on- and off-boarding in fast-paced environments
- Experience managing IT networks
- Understanding of IT infrastructure and security principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in both English and Dutch
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Willingness to travel nationally and potentially internationally
